I’m sure I join all of you in hoping that a return to normalcy is underway . Our encounter with the Covid 19 pandemic is , and has been a trying time for all of us . The more fortunate have been greatly inconvenienced and cut off from the life they enjoy . For others , it may mean the loss of a job , or dealing with a friend or family member who is infected .
The similarity we all share is knowing how quickly control of our lives can disappear . While being assured that God rules over all , we’ve been reminded our income, our level of education , our best intentions aren’t enough to overcome some situations . At these times , our Catholic faith becomes even more of a blessing to us . The rosary , the live streamed masses or EWTN give us a gift that other faiths miss out on . Hopefully , we’ve remained spiritually strong .
Our particular parish , All Saints , has been affected like all other churches . It’s likely extra help of some kind will be needed to get us back to pre Covid conditions . Keep an eye on the bulletin . Pay extra attention to any requests from the pulpit . This is a great time to live the Knights motto ” Support our Priests .” We can’t regain what we lost , but we can look to be stronger than ever in the future .
