Life has changed for us these last couple of months . The fiber of our being as Knights of Columbus has not changed . However much our church , work and home life has been affected , we recognize there are many needs that we can help address , that as Knights , we should feel compelled to address .
Blood centers need more donors at this time . They are taking extra precautions for our safety . Our food pantries have seen an increase in those needing donations . Ten or fifteen dollars worth of donations can prove important to the recipients . Our pregnancy resource centers have had a strain put on their funding , but the women needing their services deserve the best care the centers can provide .
There are other concerns worthy of our attention . In any event , we all are aware that if we can’t formally function as a council , the good works of the Knights is needed more than ever right now . Make Fr Mcgivneyproud . Make your sponsor proud . Make your fellow Knights of 15706 proud .
The very best council , under the best circumstances , still has things they can’t do . During these tough times , there’s still many things we can do . The Knights make the world a better place , good times and bad .
