Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers over Monte’s sudden death.  A memorial service / mass is planned for October 20 at 11:30am  at All Saints Catholic Church in Knoxville, TN.  Weather permitting, several of his family members and my daughter and I are planning to do a Memorial hike back to the place where he passed away to complete the hike we started that day.

Many of you have asked if there was anything that was needed ..…. Well, Monte’s children, Shea and Skyler,  who live in Northern Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin respectively are tasked with taking care of all Monte’s possessions.  Monte had bought a “fixer upper “ house  a year ago and was in the process of remodeling it.

Skyler and Shea would like to get the house on the market as soon as possible so Skyler and possibly one of Monte’s brothers are planning a trip down here arriving  this Friday morning, Sept 28th.  They could use some extra hands if any one was available  any time on Saturday to help for 1+ hours.  The home is at 1103 Whites Mill Road, Maryville, TN 37803.

Tasks:
* pack up Monte’s personal effects/ clothes  and load U-haul trailer
*  fix leaking toilet valve and slow draining bath sink
* weed eat / mow yard
* spray for termites/ rebait traps
* change locks on doors
* weed front flowerbeds/ mulch / plant annuals
* Clean oven and refrigerator
* scrape/ sand peeling paint on porch railings and repaint OR replace
* take down shutters, repaint and reinstall
* sand and paint front door to match shutters
* Clean bathroom
* vacuum great room carpet
* sweep and mop vinyl floors ( kitchen, dining area, bath, bedroom and living room)
* clean windows
* haul away trash to the dump
