Dear All,

Ash Wednesday is just around the corner and that means that the Lenten Food Drive will be starting SOON. To advertise the Food Drive, we will be distributing the food lists to our parish members on the weekend of March 2-3.  Please let us know if you are willing to hand out the lists that weekend and specify the mass time that is most convenient for you.  If you can respond to this email before February 27, it will allow us to send out a schedule to those who are able to help.

We also need folks who are willing to pick up the collected food each week and deliver to Ladies of Charity and Catholic Charities. The delivery schedule is as follows:

Ash Wednesday, March 6th to Ladies of Charity

Sunday, March 10th to Crazy Quilt (Catholic Charities)

Sunday, March 17th to Ladies of Charity

Sunday, March 24th to Crazy Quilt (Catholic Charities)

Sunday, March 31st to Ladies of Charity 

Sunday, April 7th to Crazy Quilt

Sunday, April 14th to Ladies of Charity

Please let us know if you are available to deliver.  Thank you for all your help with the Lenten Food Drive.  The need is especially high right now, since, with the government shut-down, many people will not be receiving their SNAP benefits until later in March.
